Project AgiProL - Agile production line for conductor rails

The AgiProL project aims to develop a flexible production line for busbars used to interconnect battery cells in traction batteries. This production line will enable a rapid response to changing requirements and new trends in the field of electromobility and other mobile and stationary applications. The innovative concept uses a modular production process design to flexibly link different joining process steps, thereby enabling the cost-effective production of small to medium quantities and different product variants. Another focus is on sustainability through the possibility of easily dismantling and reusing or recycling assemblies in the future, which contributes to better resource utilisation.
