InnovationCampus Future Mobility

At the InnovationCampus Future Mobility (ICM), the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and the University of Stuttgart are pooling their expertise in mobility, production and digitization. The common goal is to research and implement entirely new, innovative solutions for emission-free mobility of the future and to envision flexible, resilient value-added networks. The work is focused on cross-disciplinary, application-oriented fundamental research.

The ICM offers new formats for science, industry and the public. In addition to promoting application-oriented basic research in collaborative projects, the ICM has established formats for joint campus development such as future labs as well as transfer instruments. To promote young scientists, new professorships, junior research groups, the international exchange program Future Mobility Grants or the ICM Accelerator are being established. In addition, 18 consortia and a further 7 consortia with "Industry Networking Projects" have now been funded as part of the "InnovationChallenge Mobility and Production" transfer initiative.
