Software in vehicles

Software and electronics architectures in vehicles are gaining increasing importance and complexity and this requires new software and IT security expertise. Within the context of the federally funded SofDCar (software-defined car) project, leading companies and research institutions in the state have already addressed central issues. For the Automotive-BW cluster, it is essential that the many medium-sized suppliers are able to participate in the future value-adding potential. It is particularly these medium-sized suppliers who often struggle in the development, scaling and industrialization of innovations in these new areas of technology. The mission therefore examined the questions below and summarized the results in a report: How can SMEs be integrated in the processes along the supply chain? Which questions are relevant for the future value creation within the state beyond SofDCar?
