Preparation of the development of a hydrogen infrastructure in Baden-Württemberg by 2030

In order to plan a hydrogen infrastructure, these key questions need to be answered: How much hydrogen will be available where and when in Baden-Württemberg? These questions were addressed in the expert dialog on hydrogen infrastructure and as part of Mission IV. In three workshops, around 70 experts explored the question of how hydrogen supply, hydrogen demand and local hydrogen hubs should be designed as elements of the hydrogen infrastructure planning in the state. The overall results of the workshop series were summarized in a detailed report by the Center for Solar Energy and Hydrogen Research Baden-Württemberg. The report identifies concrete and necessary steps for building the required infrastructure and ensure the supply of hydrogen within the state.
