Dialogue with employees to shape a successful transformation

Building on the results of the focus groups with employees in the automotive industry and suppliers from previous years, the "Transformation and Employment" mission was launched in 2022. The aim was to develop success factors for a work culture that promotes innovation. The results of the workshops were compiled in a handout: It presents the topic of "innovation-promoting corporate culture" in a compact and easy-to-understand way. It is intended to provide management, employees in leadership positions, team leaders, HR departments and employee representatives with an overview of this topic. With tangible examples and practical tips, it can easily be put into practice in everyday life.

The handout was presented at the SDA symposium in Brussels in November 2022 after the end of the dialog series and thus fed into the further process of the SDA. You can find all the success factors developed in the final handout (german version).

The dialog series consisted of four digital workshops that took place between April and July 2022. The main topics were "Strategy", "Qualification" and "Communication and transparency". In September 2022, a joint final workshop was held in which the participants of the dialog events discussed success factors for the success of the transformation based on the results of the digital workshops. These were summarized in the handout, the central results document of the "Transformation and Employment" mission.

In addition to the participants from the companies, members of the working group formed as part of the "Transformation and Employment" mission also took part in the final workshop and supported the creation of the handout. The working group includes the following organizations: IG Metall Baden-Württemberg, Verband der Metall- und Elektroindustrie Baden-Württemberg e.V. (Südwestmetall), Verband des Kraftfahrzeuggewerbes BaWü e. V., ifok GmbH, e-mobil BW GmbH - Landesagentur für neue Mobilitätslösungen und Automotive Baden-Württemberg, Intersectoral School of Governance Baden-Württemberg, Fraunhofer-Institut für Arbeitswirtschaft und Organisation IAO.
