At regional level, the transformation is taking place with varying intensity and in different facets. While the focus may be on the transformation of the powertrain in one district it may be on automated driving, smart production, or hydrogen technologies in other districts of Baden-Württemberg. This analysis is to show in which transformation and application fields certain regions have already positioned themselves today or could position themselves in the future. The results can serve as bases for strategic decisions and the development of suitable measures to make the mobility industry sustainable and promote future-proof solutions. Among other things, the six regional transformation networks in Baden-Württemberg that are funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action are to be supported in the development of their strategies.
